AbreviText is a plain text editor for the English language that was designed for the extensive use of abbreviations. AbreviText for note taking or longer works is most effective when used with a physical keyboard though on-screen keyboard input is supported.
AbreviText is currently an app for iPads and is best suited for iPads having a diagonal screen size of 10″ or more.
AbreviText on an iPad also functions like an AAC device (Augmentative and Alternative Communication Device). TTS (Text-to-Speech) communication is initiated via abbreviations and text rather than images.
